Current Position Statements

CVSF position statements are developed through viewpoint events which bring together members to discuss issues which they have a shared interest in. A set of priorities relating to these issues is then agreed and a position statement developed. Have a look at our flow chart to see how your input can make a difference.

 

Following on from the CVSF conference: ‘The New Horizon’, which took place in May 2010, the CVSF position statements have been re-developed and re-branded to match the chapter headings of the Sustainable Community Strategy. The position statements offer an up-to-date summary and snap shot of the sector's views and contain clear priority areas for activity and action.

 

The position statements which CVSF members have developed over the past year can be seen below. As local issues and priorities change so our position statements will also develop.
