ChangeUp Projects
ChangeUp in Brighton and Hove is managed and delivered by the ChangeUp Consortium who oversee several projects to improve the support available to groups in the city.
These include a new website, www.supportforgroups.org.uk which brings together information from all the organisations which can support groups in Brighton & Hove.
Spoke the magazine to inform and support the hundreds of community groups, charities and other third sector organisations in the area; it includes funding and training information as well as news and features. To receive a copy by post or email, or to send in your news and stories, please contact katy@cvsectorforum.org.uk or call 01273 234003.
Support for specialist groups funded the Black & Minority Ethnic Community Partnership and the Federation of Disabled People to participate in ChangeUp meetings and projects in 2006-2007.
A Common Database has helped to pool information between support services - you can read an evaluation report on phase I of the project. If you are a support service, read the flyer to find out about joining in to phase II.
