Trustee Board Members

Our trustees are elected to the Board each year by our member organisations. They are challenged with the responsibility of ensuring that CVSF is managed effectively.

Additionally, the board of trustees oversee the strategic development of the organisation to ensure that it will continue to best serve the needs of its members and therefore the community at large. Our current Trustees are:

  • Vivienne Barton - Appointee
  • Rik Child - Furniture Now!
  • Michael Creedy - Brighton Peace & Environment Centre
  • Geraldine Des Moulins (Vice-Chair) - Federation of Disabled People
  • Lisa Dando - Brighton Women's Centre
  • Ceri Davies - CUPP
  • Anne Hickey - East Sussex Credit Union
  • Neil Holmes - Care Co-ops
  • Suzy Horne - Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals
  • Steve Hearsum - Appointee
  • Simon Lewis (Chair) - City Coast Church
  • Ronald Olufunwa - Appointee
  • Tim Smith - Grace Eyre Foundation

We are a very open organisation and managed transparently. There are several documents you may wish to read if you are interested in how we are governed and managed.

    • The minutes and reports from our board meetings will keep you up to date with an over-view of our current activities.
    • Our formal memorandum and articles of association set out the objects and powers of our organisation, along with the rules for membership, general meetings, trustees and record keeping.
    • Our Standing Orders expand on how CVSF is governed in practice.
    • A 'Delegated authority' document provides more detail on the structure and management of the relationship between the Board of Trustees and our Chief Executive.

If you have more specific requests for information please contact Gordon McCullough, our interim Chief Executive.
