Support for Groups

www.supportforgroups.org.uk is a new website for local community groups and charities, which was launched at the end of 2007.

It will bring together information from the city's infrastructure (support) organisations so that groups can find the help, support and information they need in one place.

Questions about training, resources, representation, volunteering, computer skills, communities of interest... all of the answers will be in one place and easy to find.

In October 2007, a support for groups workshop brought together the support organisations to agree on how which organisations will provide information for, and maintain, each of the website.
