Active Student
Active Student works with students at the University of Brighton to find them rewarding, safe and supported volunteering opportunities within the local community. Active Student supports volunteers throughout their volunteering experience.
B&H Archaeological Society
Lectures on archaeology and local history, excavations and other fieldwork. Objectives: promoting study and ensuring proper recording and preservation of local antiquities and relics.
Bevendean Local Action Team
The Bevendean Local Action Team empowers local residents to reduce anti-social behaviour and the fear of crime, in order to enhance local community safety and well-being.
Bike It Project
Bike It - Sustrans Project targets schools. Works with ten schools to increase cycling through incentives, events, class work, consultation, curriculum, school travel planning.
Black & Minority Ethnic Young People's Project
Young people's project providing activities and support for Black and Minority Ethnic young people aged 11 to 25.
Brighton Conservation Volunteers
To carry out countryside tasks related to nature conservation and improving public access, usually under professional guidance. The work involves various activities, including scrub clearance, path maintenance, woodland management, etc.
Brighton Cougars Basketball Club
Basketball for all. Opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to develop playing skills, interpersonal relationships on and off court, play abroad, and learn to coach and officiate. Camps, teams, training year-round.
Brighton LIONS Club
A group of persons, of all ages and from all walks of life, who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for many people less fortunate than themselves. Our motto "we serve" sums up the aims of Lions worldwide.
Brighton School of Singing
Singing and performance training for young people aged 8-18. Includes: vocal lessons; stage performance; recording; microphone technique; song writing.
Brighton Unemployed Centre Families Project
Offers volunteering opportunities, a crèche, cafe, vegan lunch, wholefood co-op, temporary housing support, welfare rights service, MIND, allotment, computer courses, miscellaneous courses including Egyptian, dance, coping with stress, yoga.
