Dialogue 50/50 Group

This group has the responsibility of providing the "voice" function of the Forum

This Group has responsibility for providing the "voice" function of Forum members in relation to strategic issues not discussed elsewhere with statutory sector agencies. Members include representatives from community and voluntary groups and statutory sector, including PCT, Brighton and Hove City Council, Learning and Skills Council, Brighton University CUPP and Brighton and Sussex University Hospital NHS Trust.

  • The group meets quarterly
  • Working groups are created to undertake particular tasks. In 2007, the Group will focus on supporting the new Economic and Social Audit and reviewing the Compact and Codes of Practice. There will be regular meetings of these working groups
  • Forum staff service this group and communications come mostly by email. Induction and briefings are provided; volunteers' childcare and travel costs are paid
