Community Engagement Framework

Brighton and Hove City Council have recognised that effective community engagement drives up the quality of city wide services. So, as part of its role in bringing a range of partners together, the Local Strategic Partnership (the LSP) and Stronger Communities Partnership have developed a Community Engagement Framework.

Community Engagement Training

The aim of this training is to introduce participants to the concepts of community engagement and to provide information and examples of good practice which are directly relevant to their roles. The training comes directly from the Community Engagement Framework and is running throughout 2011/12.

This course is for you if you want to find out about:

How to work effectively with communities

Producing and delivering your own work plan to develop your role with the community

Support other team members to engage with residents
