Ensure the city's needs are in the 2012 Joint Strategic Needs Assessment
It is a statutory duty for the local public sector to produce a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA). The JSNA focuses on specific needs, or population groups, and is produced annually. The JSNA is a key document as it provides an assessment of health need within the city which is then used to determine local strategy and services to improve local health issues. The JSNA this year will heavily influence the Health and Wellbeing Strategy which will be produced later this year.
CVSF members have been invited to highlight any gaps in the proposed content for the 2012 JSNA to ensure that all topics are covered. Please email Libby (libby@cvsectorforum.org.uk) with any gaps or concerns by 5.00pm on 17th February 2012.
