Over the last three years the Regional Empowerment Partnership has had the privilege of working with many outstanding people and organisations and they would like to celebrate their achievements and give recognition to all projects in the region where excellent work and outstanding results have helped communities and improved people’s lives.
The aim of the Community Empowerment Awards is to encourage and reward the dedication and enthusiasm of local people, voluntary organisations or community groups, who have worked with their local councils to influence decisions about their communities and the services they receive.
Brighton and Hove Winners receive a £1,000 cash prize as well as local, regional and national recognition for the project. In addition, they will be automatically entered into the Regional Awards with a chance to win the first place prize of £5,000.
